The Dali Lama came to Rutgers Stadium today. I live right accross the river from the stadium, so I figured that it would probably be a once in a lifetime opportunity to see him speak.

His hour-long talk was interesting, insightful and, often times, quite humorous. At times, he struggled with his English, but many times his English was pretty good. It was definately a great expereience.

I was in Cincinnati this week and decided to see the Reds play the Brewers at the Great American Ballpark on the river. $60 gets you second row seats behind the dougout twenty minutes before game time – not exactly Yankee Stadium.

The stadium was beautiful – modern, clean, bright and always a good viewpoint from any seast. Once again, not exactly Yankess Stadium.
